When you have our medical alert system in place in your home or other living situation, it's as simple as pushing a button when you're in need (fall detection technology is also available). When you push the button on a system device, such as the personal emergency pendant, a room or hallway button, or the large emergency button on the base unit, you will be connected directly to trained professionals who are able to dispatch the help you need anytime, day or night.
You'll be able to talk directly and freely with a trained agent to explain your situation. The representative will stay on the line until they have verified your well being and you terminate the call or until assistance arrives.
Depending on your situation the telephone agent will take the necessary steps on your behalf. If emergency services or designated emergency responders are required the representative will alert them. Other actions include contacting a designated person that you specify. This may be a family member, a friend, a neighbor or other emergency personnel.
